There are so many great stories out there and so many guys looking for cretive ways to propose to their ladies so lets share shall we?

Andy and I were living in Columbia, MO at the time and he started off on Friday surprising me at work with a vase of my three favorite flowers (Sweet Pea, Peony, and Ranuculus). The next day he started early by taking me on a day trip to St. Louis. We went up in the Arch, went to the botanical gardens (where later I learned he had wanted to propose but these two women had been trailing us the whole time), and to a special dinner in the Italian district. It turns out that he had called ahead in case he hadn't propsed yet and they were supposed to put us in a private booth and arrange to serve the ring on a dessert plate or something. Well, we get there and he talks to them for a bit and they seat us right next to this huge table full of loud drunk people! Also no dessert plate. We ate our dinner and were walking back to the car on this pretty street with old row houses, old fashioned street lamps, and fall leaves falling from the trees. He starts to slow down and I kept saying “why are you going so slow, I'm freezing, move it!” and finally he dropped to one knee. Of course I know what that means and I'm thinking “he's had all day and he's going to do it now? In the middle of the street?” Sure enough he whipped out the box. He said some sweet words and popped the top open with “will you marry me?” and I said “Of course!” and we loved for a bit on the street that suddently now felt warm and romantic.

I know Sharon and Sarmad have a great story on their wedding website. She was flying home to JAX (they live in NYC) by herself to visit family and all the sudden, he showed up in the seat next to her! How pricesless would that look have been??

Those are our stories, what's yours??
