Kyndra and Derrek are getting married this December at Palm Valley Gardens. When it came time to shoot their engagement session, we asked them what they like to do together. They shared that they enjoy going to the movies together so I thought the old movie theater marquis in San Marco would be perfect. I also brought along some props such as “admit one” ticket stubs (okay, so tickets don’t look like that anymore, lets not be too literal here ;o) and old fashioned popcorn tubs. The tubs were even filled with popcorn (good old microwave kind) so they could have a food fight ;o) We also wanted something close to the water but not beach shots so we opted for Willow Branch Creek. It is a cool spot on a canal off the river (a blink and you’ll miss it if you are driving by kind of place) with a low hanging tree, balustrade and Spanish tiled gazebo. We had a great time with these two and I’m sure their wedding will be a lot of fun this December!
