We shot baby Alex last year for her one year photos (you can see them here) so we were honored when her parents (Pam and Jesse Dent) wanted us to shoot her again for her two year photos.  That means we are doing our job! Of course to us, it is more than just a job and we always enjoy spending time with the Dent family. Pam had the great idea of shooting at the courtyard area at the Atlantic Beach Town Center followed by some fun in the sand. We brought some silly props like sand castle building supplies, a hula hoop, and some balloons to add that pop of color. I asked Pam if Alex had a tutu and she said that she not only had one but she had made it herself! So sit back and enjoy our little ballerina.

The Morjon family recently moved to Jacksonville from the windy city and wanted some urban shots that still reflected their new town. What Floridian doesn’t want to show off the warm climate on their family Christmas card? I know I sure did.  We had fun shooting them downtown near the Florida theater as well as at the Landing area. There are so many great places to shoot downtown and in the historic areas for those “urban” type photos so for those of you that think you are limited to the beach think again! Or you can always get the best of both worlds and do a double session! These type of locations also make for great bride and groom, trash the dress/bridals,  or wedding party shots. This is part 1 of the Morgan family photo shoot. Jeremy and Claire wanted an easy going family session at the beach as well as a session with just the kids both at home and at the park. We had a great time shooting them and their little ones, Hailey and Preston over 2 days in Neptune beach.

While we were visiting family back in Missouri last week we had the opportunity to do a portrait session with little Emily Ann. We love to shoot kids just being kids. We like to see their personalities come out and then capture images that reflect  them. Emily has loads of energy and plenty of personality. She was a total ham which we love! I also got to do all of the styling for this one and I had a lot of fun choosing her clothes, accessories, hair styles, and the locations. She was a great sport and did an awesome  job so thanks Emily!
